If you have ONE symptom, this app may help you. If you need to include several symptoms for an illness, it gives you results for only one symptom. For example, a very young child with several concerning symptoms, rash/fever/pain, it gives you you “grass allergy,” or “injury”, or “eczema”. And the answers are common sense that you already would have ruled out. Delaying this app AGAIN.

Always have a good information. However, very in-depth information on. Keep you up-to-date on information. Thanks

Pleased to have you as a source of medical inquiry

I like the app but I don’t love it. The medication reminder needs to have a different notification tone from other apps to make it stand out. It also sends me a ton of notifications that I don’t want even tho I have them turned off. I only want med reminder notifications. Please fix. Otherwise, the app is great. I like pill identifier, symptom checker, as well as that I can save conditions and mark articles I want to read or reference later.

Good source for getting drug information!

Not only do I use it to keep track of whether I took the medication, but I have used a couple of times to tell people at medical appointments that were not with my regular doctor what I take. I am not very good at remembering the names of medications even though I remember why I take the medications.

Needed Airsupra inhaler and found it on WebMDRx but upon further review I found out the same item in store was $500 more. Was so disappointed

I do not like the system. It does not help me get where I need to go and doesn’t tell me how to do anything.

November 2024 I want to update my review because I have just opened the app and I saw only one ad which was not annoying. Congratulations WebMD, you’re doing a great job! I have left my previous review below so that this one will, hopefully, make more sense. Previous Review: (I don’t know when I wrote this) For crying out LOUD. This app never used to have so many ads. I don’t even remember it having any ads. I hadn’t opened it in a long time. But I did today and it’s sickening. Ads Ads Ads Ads Ads Ads Ads Ads Ads Ads Ads Ads Ads Geeeezzzzzzz!! But it is handy to have!

This used to be a helpful source of information but at some point they changed the format, doing away with the clarifying questions. Half the time the results are far fetched at best. If I reply my knee hurts on the outside why give me results that specify the inner side of the knee? Why jump to blood clots without asking if there was an injury involved?

A bat. Are you serious? Can you keep this subject updated as real scientists find out more about the origin?

It never occurred to me, that I Couldn’t be a mother if u have Bi Polar. I always felt I was capable Of anything I wanted to do. I have Never felt like having Bi Polar made Me disabled in some way. Lets Not perpetrator the negative aspects of this disease!!

I’ve been using this app for years for meditation reminders works well with alarm settings and couldn’t ask for better. However, when you open the alarm to click you have taken your meditation… be prepared to wait, and wait, and wait. Like waiting for a download or something worse = the slowest loading app on my phone. Also, would be nice to have a medical shot/vaccination logbook for us old folks. 3-stars but it does work enjoy.

Every once in a while I search for something on WebMD and I actually find what I’m looking for. Otherwise, the vast majority of the time I’m provided information on things totally unrelated to what I’m searching for. To drastically prove my point for this review I searched for “testicle pain” and the results provided by WebMD were “knee pain, ovary pain, teething pain, gas pain, and difficulty sleeping due to pain.” Nothing even closely relating to the original search. Deleting this app as it typically doesn’t provide anything relevant.

I have turned off everything I can find in any setting and I am still getting emails. Can anyone tell me how to get them stopped?

Thank you for helping us when we cant get to a doctor to understand the basics of what we may be experiencing. I’ve learned lot on this site whether I’m concerned about myself or someone else. This is a straight forward app, not meant to diagnose or treat with definity, just an explanation in plain English that those of us without medical experience or education can understand. Thank you!

My current WebMD gives me allergy tracker. It tells me to download this one and I can set my location in the main page. But there is nothing to set allergy tracker on it. Why should I use this. That’s all I need it for

The app I’m signed into keeps telling me to create a profile when I already have a profile and previously used it and logged in and then every time I go to symptom checker please create an account error can’t create account, and then it will say the next time to save your symptoms, create a profile when I already have a profile and then won’t work and I just have to keep entering it over and over again and there’s no way to contact any sort of support or anything for the App some of the things like in the articles don’t work if you click on them they will have? And they will be clickable. Say sorry content not found there’s a lot of errors. A lot of bugs in the app. This app is a very bad one especially medication. it says don’t interfere with something when they do that in accuracy of conditions for symptoms is wrong saying you have conditions and when you check with the doctor, nope completely different from what the things said and said used to be able to print your condition list or symptoms to give to your doctor and it does not allow that feature not even to save or log it or anything like that medication reminders require notifications which you don’t want enable that you get way too many notifications about new medical studies and everything else that it gives you too much and it’s too annoying I don’t recommend you get this out. It’s a waste of time so many problems no support nothing tells you to create an account then no way to send feedback incorrect articles articles saying content not found for conditions. Medication is not being found telling you to create a profile finish completing your profile. Add your sex to your account when error. Sorry something went wrongfix They’ve literally cannot detect issues like psychiatric conditions like disassociative identity disorder doesn’t come up psychiatric medication’s. Don’t come up symptom checker for current conditions however, you can’t add more than three entries per day. There’s just issues with this.

I am 83 with weak eyes and tinnitus. I can usually scan information on a website and tell my iPhone to read it to me, but on WebMD, I can only highlight a paragraph at a time making this method null and void.

The identifiers are exactly what I need and extremely helpful

I used to appreciate and reference issues on this app all the time, but the recent updates make it unusable. The embedded ads take forever to load and they clutter the page. (I also have some ethical concerns about a healthcare site that claims to be reputable, but has AdChoices embedded every other paragraph.) I realize everyone needs to make money and WebMD is a business, but the infinite scroll and advertisements make it hard to trust WebMD as a credible source.

If you are female , you could enter that you are having “rectal bleeding” and this app is going to tell you that you have exogenous depression /heart attack or mononucleosis. Enter all your symptoms as a male and see the difference. I understand men and women are different in many ways , but this app is very realistic in the sense that as a woman you are told that “everything is in your head” the same way the medical establishment normally treats women . If you think I’m being dramatic , check “the patient story” on YouTube . Uninstalling, horrible and useless

This is an excellent source of information on diseases, what causes them, and steps to treat them. They also can recommend doctors in your area. Right now, I am benefiting from this app and recommend it to others.

Between setting up the app and connecting other apps, the instructions provided by WebMD website and the mobile app are not in sync.

Unable to find problem my doctor has told me, had to go to google to find description and hope it is reliable

It keeps crashing when I try to add my medication reminders

This app has become a struggle to use. It never opens so you can mark that you’ve taken you’re meds/vitanins. It just always seems to crash. So, when it does finally open you have to “make up” for all the times it wouldn’t let you mark and then go ahead and mark the ones for the day so they’ll be marked as well.

I’m not a doctor but this app is amazing

For some reason, this app does not support Dark Mode. So if you have a headache (migraine in particular) or other condition that makes your eyes sensitive to light, this application is hideous. It is just a bright white screen..

A very good application to use with regards to health I look forward to getting them and a lot of them are applicable to me and my current health keep up the good work
