Doesnt work on Watch Series 2

Got a new Apple Watch Series 2, the app was working fine on Watch OS 3 on my older Apple Watch Sport (1st gen) but no matter what I try, I cant get it to launch on the Series 2 watch... just keeps crashing.

Ive uninstalled/reinstalled on the watch several times, no luck. Ironically, the medication reminders still get pushed to the watch, but I cant open the app on the watch to mark which medications Ive taken, so whats the point?
